In 1999-00 Chris was an extremely
quick, backup shooting guard who could create her own shot and who is an
offensive threat coming off the bench for the Knights. In only six minutes
of action against Villanova in the BIG EAST tourney, she scored two baskets,
handed out one assist, grabbed three rebounds, blocked one shot, and had
two steals. Christina saw only one minute of action in the BIG EAST Championship
game against Connecticut due to bad migraine headaches. Christina averaged
4.4 points and 1.9 rebounds per game during the season. "Chris" earned
her first collegiate start of her career on 11/26/99 vs. Northeastern,
in which she scored four points on 2-5 shooting. Started 11 straight games
early this season, in which she set season and career highs in points (11),
rebounds (4), and minutes (38) in the 46-35 win at Ohio State.
